Bharath Kumar built the Money Manager app as a Freemium and Ad Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Bharath Kumar at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Money Manager unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way, except for the backup you choose to make (see Sign-In and Cloud Backup below) and the AI Quick Add requests you choose to send (see AI Quick Add below).
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Google Analytics for Firebase records that AI Quick Add was used, for example that a request was made or how many drafts were saved. It never records the text, the recording, amounts, titles, notes, or category and account names.
Sign-In and Cloud Backup
Signing in and backing up are optional. If you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication receives your Google account's basic profile (your name, email address and profile picture) to create your account in the app's Firebase project.
When you back up, either when you tap Back up or automatically at the frequency you choose, a compressed copy of your transactions, categories, accounts and budgets is stored in Cloud Firestore in the app's Firebase project, linked to your account, together with your name and the time of the backup. It is used only to restore your data, on this or another device, when you choose Restore. Google stores it on my behalf and encrypts it at rest.
Signing out stops further backups. Your last backup stays stored until you ask me to delete it. To delete your backup and account, contact me at the email address below.
AI Quick Add
Money Manager offers an optional AI Quick Add feature that turns a description you type or say, such as "coffee 60 and taxi 120 yesterday", into draft transactions for you to review. Nothing is sent unless you use it, and nothing is saved until you check the drafts and tap Save.
When you send a request, the app sends the following to Google's Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic:
The app does not send your balances, your other transactions, your sign-in or profile details, or internal database identifiers. Google returns the drafts, which the app shows you for review.
AI Quick Add currently uses Google's free Gemini API service. Under Google's terms for that service, Google may use what you send (your text, recordings, and category and account names) and the drafts it returns to provide, improve and develop Google products and machine-learning technologies, and human reviewers at Google may read and annotate them. Please don't include sensitive details, such as card or bank account numbers, in your requests. This processing is governed by the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
To protect the service from misuse, each request is verified with Firebase App Check, which uses Google Play Integrity to confirm it comes from the genuine app. If you are signed in, the request may also carry your Firebase sign-in token.
Microphone
The app asks for microphone access only when you choose to speak a request. Your recording is kept temporarily in the app's private storage on your device. It is deleted as soon as it is sent, or if you cancel, record again or close the screen. Recording stops if you leave the app. You can withdraw microphone access at any time in your device settings and still type your requests.
Usage Limits and Rewarded Ads
The app counts how many AI requests you make on your device to apply its free and fair-use limits. These counts stay on your device. Free users may choose to watch a rewarded ad, served by Google AdMob, to get an extra AI entry. These ads are shown only when you ask for one.
Your Choices
AI Quick Add is optional. You can hide it in Settings → General → AI Quick Add and keep adding transactions manually.
Log Data
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do necessary actions.
